When to request a license transfer

Move your Business Edition license to a new Windows PC when hardware changes.

Who can request a transfer?

License transfer requests are available for WhatSender Pro Business Edition customers on active 1-year plans. Standard Edition licenses cannot be moved to another PC after activation.

  1. You bought Business Edition with a 1-year license term.
  2. Your license is already activated on an old PC (laptop, desktop, or VM).
  3. You need to move to new hardware — new PC, replaced hard drive, or crashed machine.
  4. You still have access to the software on the old PC, or can explain why you cannot.
Common reasons we approve

Bought a new PC, hard drive failure, motherboard replacement, office laptop swap, or Windows reinstall that changed the machine fingerprint.

Not eligible

Standard Edition, expired licenses, sharing one key across multiple PCs, or requests without a valid purchase record.

Open Software License Activation

Launch WhatSender Pro on your current or new PC to reach the activation screen.

Find the activation dialog

On first launch — or after a license check — WhatSender Pro shows the Software License Activation window. This is where you validate keys and request hardware transfers.

  1. Install WhatSender Pro on the PC where you want to use the license (new machine).
  2. Launch the app — the Software License Activation dialog appears automatically if not yet activated.
  3. Note your Request Key at the top (unique hardware fingerprint for this PC).
  4. Paste your license key in the License Key field, or click LOAD FROM FILE if you saved a .lic file.

Click REQUEST TRANSFER

Use the orange button on the activation screen — do not email random support threads without submitting through the app.

Start the transfer from the app

After validating your license key, the activation screen shows license details and the REQUEST TRANSFER button. Click it to open the hardware transfer form tied to your license and Request Key.

  1. Paste your license key and click VALIDATE so license details load (name, email, expiry, features).
  2. Confirm Expiry Date and enabled features match your purchase.
  3. Click the orange REQUEST TRANSFER button at the bottom of the dialog.
  4. The Hardware Transfer Request popup opens — ready for your reason.

Submit Hardware Transfer Request

Describe why you need to move the license — our team uses this to verify legitimate hardware changes.

Enter your reason and submit

The Hardware Transfer Request dialog asks for a short explanation. Be specific — vague requests take longer to approve.

  1. Read the prompt: “Please enter the reason for this hardware transfer request”.
  2. Type a clear reason, e.g. “Bought a new PC”, “Hard drive crashed”, or “Laptop replaced by IT”.
  3. Click the orange SUBMIT button to send the request to our license server.
  4. Wait for confirmation in the app — do not close the software immediately after submitting.

Team review & contact

Every transfer is reviewed manually — we verify purchase, plan type, and request details before approving.

What happens after you submit

Your request is pushed from the desktop software to our license management system. Our team reviews eligibility, checks your Business Edition 1-year plan, and contacts you if we need more information.

  1. Request appears in our license queue with your license key, Request Key, and reason.
  2. We verify the purchase email and active subscription window.
  3. If approved, we release the license binding so you can activate on the new hardware fingerprint.
  4. We contact you via your registered email or WhatsApp with approval status and next steps.
Typical timeline

Most requests are processed within 1–2 business days. Complex cases (lost access to old PC, reseller licenses) may need your purchase receipt.

Activate on your new PC

After approval, validate again and click Activate — or use CHECK STATUS to refresh.

Complete activation after approval

Once our team approves the transfer, return to Software License Activation on your new PC, validate your key, and activate. SYSTEM STATUS should show READY before you scan the WhatsApp QR code.

  1. Open WhatSender Pro on the target PC.
  2. Paste the same license key and click VALIDATE.
  3. Click CHECK STATUS if approval was recent — the dialog refreshes license state.
  4. Click Activate (magenta button) when validation succeeds.
  5. Wait for SYSTEM STATUS: READY, then connect WhatsApp from the dashboard.

License transfer FAQ

How do I request a WhatSender Pro license transfer?

Open WhatSender Pro → Software License Activation → validate your license key → click REQUEST TRANSFER → enter your reason in the Hardware Transfer Request dialog → SUBMIT. Our team reviews and contacts you.

Can Standard Edition licenses be transferred?

No. License transfer requests are only for Business Edition customers on active 1-year plans. Standard Edition binds to one PC permanently after activation.

How long does license transfer approval take?

Most hardware transfer requests are reviewed within 1–2 business days. Use CHECK STATUS in the activation dialog after our team approves the transfer.
