Getting started

Install WhatSender Pro, connect WhatsApp, and run your first bulk campaign before adding any APIs.

Install on Windows 10/11

Download the installer, bypass SmartScreen if prompted, and activate with the license key from your purchase email.

  1. Download WhatSender Pro from the Download page or your purchase email.
  2. Right-click the installer → Run as administrator. Allow firewall access when Windows asks.
  3. If SmartScreen blocks the app, click More info → Run anyway.
  4. Enter your license key on first launch and wait for SYSTEM STATUS: READY on the dashboard.

Connect WhatsApp via QR

Your WhatsApp session stays on this PC only — no cloud storage of messages or contacts.

  1. Open the main dashboard and click Connect WhatsApp or scan QR.
  2. On your phone: WhatsApp → Linked devices → Link a device → scan the QR code.
  3. Wait until the status badge turns green (Connected / Ready).
  4. Do not log out of WhatsApp Web on your phone while campaigns are running.

First bulk campaign

Import contacts, write a message with merge tags, set safe delays, and send.

  1. IMPORTS → From File → select .csv or .xlsx with Name and Phone columns.
  2. Map [Name], [Number], and optional [Var1] columns in the import wizard.
  3. Compose your message using {name} or column tags. Attach media if needed.
  4. Set delay between messages (recommended 15–45 seconds), preview 3 rows, then Start Campaign.

Google People API

Sync Google contacts directly into Contact Hub — credentials stay on your PC, no third-party server.

Create Google Cloud project

You need a free Google Cloud project with the People API enabled before generating OAuth credentials.

  1. Go to console.cloud.google.com and sign in with your Google account.
  2. Create a new project named SyncTool (or any name you prefer).
  3. Open APIs & Services → Library → search Google People API → Enable.
  4. Open OAuth consent screen → User type External → App name SyncTool → add your email as test user.
  5. Set Publishing status to Testing — safe for personal use and skips Google verification.

Generate OAuth credentials

Create a Desktop App OAuth client — this matches WhatSender's local OAuth flow.

  1. APIs & Services → Credentials → Create Credentials → OAuth client ID.
  2. Application type: Desktop app. Name it WhatSender Pro.
  3. Copy the Client ID (ends in .apps.googleusercontent.com) and Client Secret (GOCSPX-...).
  4. Keep these private — they grant access to your Google contacts.

Connect in WhatSender Pro

Paste credentials in Contact Hub, authorize once, then import or sync contacts anytime.

  1. Open Contact Hub → click ⚙ Google API (or Decentralized Contact Sync).
  2. Paste Client ID and Client Secret → click CONNECT API SYNC.
  3. Browser opens for Google sign-in — approve contact read permission.
  4. Back in Contact Hub: Import Google for one-time pull, or Sync Google for updates.

Open AI Agents Hub in software

Business Edition → AI Agents Hub. Create agents, pick a provider, paste API key, upload knowledge, and toggle Active Agent.

  1. Main menu → AI Agents Hub (or AI Training Hub).
  2. Click + New Agent and give it a name (e.g. Sales Bot, Support EN).
  3. Provider dropdown: OpenAI, Gemini, DeepSeek, or Claude.
  4. Paste API key, select model, add system prompt + FAQ knowledge.
  5. Check Active Agent and Save — bot replies to inbound WhatsApp messages automatically.

OpenAI (ChatGPT) API key

Industry-standard models. Recommended: gpt-4o for quality, gpt-3.5-turbo for budget. Requires prepaid balance.

  1. Go to platform.openai.com/api-keys → Create new secret key → name it WhatSender Pro.
  2. Copy the key (sk-...) immediately — it is shown only once.
  3. Settings → Billing → add at least $5 USD credits (free tier returns error 429).
  4. In AI Agents Hub: Provider OpenAI → paste key → model gpt-4o or gpt-3.5-turbo → Save.

OpenAI API is pay-per-use. Monitor usage at platform.openai.com/usage.

Google Gemini API key

gemini-flash-latest has a generous free tier — great for testing AI agents at zero cost.

  1. Visit aistudio.google.com/app/apikey and sign in.
  2. Click Get API key → Create API key in new project.
  3. Copy the key into AI Agents Hub → Provider Gemini.
  4. Select model gemini-flash-latest (free tier) or gemini-pro-latest (paid).

Anthropic Claude API key

Strong reasoning and long-context replies — ideal for detailed support and sales conversations.

  1. Log in at console.anthropic.com → API Keys.
  2. Create key → add billing credits to your Anthropic account.
  3. In AI Agents Hub: Provider Claude → paste key → pick claude-3-5-sonnet or latest model.
  4. Save and test with a sample inbound message.

  1. Sign up at platform.deepseek.com.
  2. API Keys section → Generate new token.

Official WhatsApp Business API for template messages, webhooks, and ban-resistant delivery at scale.

Create Meta Developer app

Register at Meta for Developers, create a Business-type app, and add the WhatsApp product.

  1. Go to developers.facebook.com → My Apps → Create App.
  2. Select Other → Business as the app type.
  3. Add product WhatsApp → Set up → link your Meta Business Manager account.
  4. Add a phone number or use the test number provided by Meta.

Copy API credentials

From WhatsApp → API Setup you need Phone Number ID, WABA ID, and an access token.

  1. Sidebar: WhatsApp → API Setup.
  2. Copy Phone number ID and WhatsApp Business Account ID.
  3. Copy Temporary access token (valid ~24 hours) for quick testing.
  4. For production: Business Settings → System Users → generate permanent token with whatsapp_business_messaging permission.

Configure in WhatSender Pro

Paste token and IDs in the Meta API panel. Enable webhook mode in AI Agents for Cloud API replies.

  1. Business Edition → Meta API / Cloud API settings panel.
  2. Paste Access Token, Phone Number ID, and WABA ID → Verify connection.
  3. Register webhook URL (use Developer REST API + ngrok for local testing).
  4. Sync approved message templates from Meta Manager before launching template campaigns.

Connect Twilio for Bulk Voice AI Caller — automated phone calls with AI-generated scripts.

Create Twilio account

Sign up, verify your account, and purchase a voice-enabled phone number with sufficient credits.

  1. Register at twilio.com and complete phone/email verification.
  2. Console Dashboard → copy Account SID and Auth Token.
  3. Phone Numbers → Buy a number with Voice capability.
  4. Add billing credits — Twilio charges per minute for outbound calls.

OpenAI key for voice AI

Voice AI Caller uses OpenAI for real-time conversation — you need both Twilio and OpenAI configured.

  1. Get an OpenAI API key (see Chapter 02 — OpenAI section).
  2. Ensure billing credits are active on your OpenAI account.
  3. Pick a voice model compatible with real-time audio (shown in the Voice Caller form).

Launch a voice campaign

Bulk Voice AI Caller — paste Twilio + OpenAI credentials, write script, select contacts, start.

  1. Main menu → Bulk Voice AI Caller.
  2. Twilio panel: paste Account SID, Auth Token, and From Number.
  3. OpenAI panel: paste API key and select voice model.
  4. Write call script / prompt, import contact list, click Start Campaign.

Developer REST API

Expose a local REST API to send messages, receive webhooks, and integrate WhatSender with your own apps.

Start the local API server

Developer API form — set port, generate API key, click Start Server. WhatsApp must be connected first.

  1. Main menu → Developer API (Local REST API).
  2. Set Port (default 8080) and API Key — click Generate for a secure random key.
  3. Click Start Server — status changes to API Status: RUNNING.
  4. Use Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY on all requests.

Expose with ngrok (webhooks)

Meta webhooks and external apps need a public URL. WhatSender can auto-download and run ngrok.

  1. Start the API server first, then click Start Ngrok in the Developer API form.
  2. Enter your ngrok authtoken when prompted (free at ngrok.com).
  3. Copy the public forwarding URL (e.g. https://abc123.ngrok-free.app).
  4. Use this URL as your Meta webhook callback — append your webhook path if required.

Common REST calls once the server is running on http://localhost:PORT

  1. POST /api/v1/send — body: { "number": "1234567890", "message": "Hello!" }
  2. Optional: media URL, caption, and delay parameters per endpoint docs in the in-app Guide tab.
  3. Register webhook URL for inbound messages and delivery status events.
  4. Check the dark log console in Developer API for request errors and debugging.
